I'm 56. Last year was my first year riding. This spring, 3rd ride of the season I fell and broke my hip. I was lucky. No surgery was required. I couldn't wait for the 6 weeks to pass so that I could get back in the saddle. I've managed 500 plus miles since the fall including a 50 mile jaunt last weekend. As with most of life ....I guess it all depends on your attitude.

I know you like yours, but I have a hard time recommending a bike that has ashtabula cranks. Or that comes in your choice of 1 or 3 speeds. If seat height is an issue, then almost any delta trike will sit higher. http://suncyclecenter.com/images/lib...recum_09_m.jpg The PAV is not a racing trike like the pavement scrapers you ride. No, the PAV is for slow steady fun for those who enjoy plain simple cycling fun. |
