Lovely story. The Olympics have been bringing people together, on and off, for over 2000 years. It is clear that the Olympic spirit travels well, spanning such a long period of time as well as spanning diverse cultures.

I googled his name to see if I could find more back-story. Despite the fact that he has been traveling for two years, apparently getting press clippings along the way and arrived in London almost 10 days ago, none of the news I found was older than a day. Our silly media. It's so centralized. The same story, a thousand times.

I'm really impressed with what he did, pedaling over the Himalaya's after being turned back in south asia says a lot about his sense of purpose. He brings 50+ some credit.

Now that's inspiring!

Thats hard to fathom, a man, and not a young man doing such thing. I just can't seem to get my head around it.

I like the fact that he's been able to get by on the generosity of the people he has met on his travels. I believe people sense his genuine Olympic spirit.

I think it's cool that he sleeps in his rickshaw.
