Feels Good To Be Riding Again!

1 Attachment(s)
August and September were a bumpy ride.

Burned out after all the prep for the Mt Shasta Summit Century (will sure do it different next time!).

Travel.

Said goodbye to our faithful old Lab, a better hound there never was.

But back in the saddle this week! Feels so good! Will get 4 commutes in this wonderful Oregon fall weather, would be 5 but I get to go work for beer (pouring beer at the Rogue Beer Garden Friday night).

And my new buddy that moved here from Idaho is helping keep me on my toes.

Glad to hear you're riding again. Your new little guy is sure cute. Have you named him yet?

Major Taylor York (Major Taylor, look him up. York for Sgt. Alvin York).

I thought I was tough, but losing our Lab really set me on my ear. We had gotten a Rat Terrier in May when it was confirmed he was not going to make it, and Giggs (Mr. Rat Terrier) made our Lab's last months better by being an encouraging playmate. The pup York has big paws to fill, but he is a good one, and Yes, it is GOOD to be riding again!
