A lot of the trails between the Cinque Terra were closed due to landslides, but we were able to train around pretty successfully. UBER packed in the middle of the day, but not so much early and late in the day. I think a lot of people stay elsewhere and head to Cinque Terra for the day. We stayed in Riomaggiore, which was great. The best part of the trip was babysitting the grand daughter. My daughter and son in law were attending a wedding in Florence and we volunteered to babysit. They were grateful, but needn't have been. What a privilege to have a date night out with your grand daughter showing her the sights of old town Florence. Our house needs painting soon. I believe you are referring to Moran State Park …? … I was at Moraine State Park … 15 miles or so and just 500 ft elevation gain … :) https://www.traillink.com/trail/mora...rk-bike-trail/ but often will include some of the area roads when doing this ride - makes a nice loop . |

We quartered in Morro Bay, and rode around - Montana de Oro, Profumo - See Cyn to Avilla Bch & Avilla, Pismo and up in the wIne country of Templeton/San Rita Rd areas. Casual, taking in the sights, country and farms for very fresh berries, fruits and salad making produce!

The pelicans taking over the dock. They have been having a rough time finding food but I heard locally there has been a huge school of anchovies that have moved in.
