A little shameless advertsing. With the current currency exchange, our friends south of the 49 should come and explore the cycling in our neighborhood. |
Nope, no night riding, though we do commute in the dark. We went out specifically to try and shoot this. Tricia has her bike up on a picnic table. I set up lights.

Does anyone know what this plant is? The delicate red stems caught my eye.

I don't imagine there's an escalator up to this view point? I must be an amazing ride and awesome photo!
No escalator, just a 5200 foot hill to ride up from sea level, in less than 20 miles. Great ride and beautiful scenery. |

Rode to the beach at Oceanside, CA last night with the wife. We saw the green flash for the first time in our 28 yrs in SoCal.

Pie ride this morning - in the rain. Had to wash his and her bike afterwards. Wouldn't you know it the sun came out after they were washed. Thought it was an appropriate time to take a "family photo". Never taken one of the Cannondale family all together. Caad8 DuraAce, Caad8 Athena 11, Caad5 105, Caad9 Athena 11. Just like our kids, we love them all equally.

Honeysuckle Beach at Hayden Lake in Hayden, Idaho. Went on the 24-mile loop around the lake. Lots of up-and-downs. Very little traffic, and what there was were patient while I hauled my huge carcass up the inclines.

Rode a metric century today on the 'Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes' from Harrison to Pinehurst, out and back. It was pretty hazy with fire smoke from somewhere or other. Didn't really smell too bad, so I when ahead and rode. Had a wonderful rolling chat for about twenty miles with a fellow a year older than me from Boise. We talked about everything under the sun, and the slower pace ate into my average mph for the ride.
I'm a sucker for old, abandoned houses and barns. The older and more decrepit, the better. At Medimont on the trail. http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/t...pswbsvkdoa.jpg An elk in a field about 100 meters off the bike path. http://i601.photobucket.com/albums/t...psced38yru.jpg |

Florida lake country ride.
First week of riding with my wife - first time in decades for her. She loved the Electra 7D and was wearing a big grin. |
From my commute home last night. I love this time of year.

Couldn't resist taking a sunrise photo a couple days ago. I don't normally ride this early anymore but love seeing the sun come up. |
This is the little girl I used to carry up stairs and tuck in. We shot this Saturday night, barely getting up the hill near our house as the light started to fade.

Congratulations, grandpa.

How do you post a picture so it doesn't look postage stamp size? I see a lot of pictures here start right out at a good viewing size.
