Yes! Corrugated metal is a common building material, and they do amazing things with it.

Artists are many in the town, and it is a joy to stroll through. Amazing stuff!

That's me in the middle leading out the Padres Pedal the Cause 3rd wave on Day 1, 100 miles 7k ft elevation. Day 2 was 67 miles 2.5k ft elevation.

The final yards to the top of the Hollywood Sign, above Los Angeles, are steep but worth the effort. Those tall buildings are part of Century City, which include the Nakatomi Building, from the original Die Hard movie. Those two cyclists are both well over 50.

No Dutch themed town is complete without the Bakery. Yummmm!

Santiago Chile ... they close down several main streets to motor vechicles every Sunday until 2PM. And boy, do the Chileans take advantage of it.

I just passed up a barely used Wilier Izoard XC for 700 bones. Kinda regret it, kinda don't. Makes me want a Wilier, however, a more racy one.

A day off for some paddling in New Jersey during my 400 mile tour from Brattleboro, VT to Philly back in September.

Why would someone be surprised to see an airplane at 10,000 meters?

Maybe because it appears to be way too close and possibly a violation of FAA regs.

This is such a great photo.

Stark and barren, very evocative. I can almost feel what the rider is going through... cold, tired, alone, head down, trudging on the road with a mountain bike.
