I was in Europe all last week for work so no bike time till Saturday when I had a day off before flying home Sunday morning. Spent most of the day pedaling this very heavy beast all over Paris. Figure it was a good 4 hours of riding between all the stops.

I decided to put my Mad Fibers back on after riding them with Bora Ultras for a while. Handling with the Boras felt more stable in sidewinds. Decided to weigh the fronts. Here's the weight difference. Thought it was intersting. Both are tubulars.

Inyo county is in the eastern Sierra area of California. Inyo County, California

DC stands for double century, which Biker 395 does a lot of.

had some storm clouds pass close enough to be scenic, but far enough away to stay dry!

Not a good day. but then managed to make it back to car, and then to work. Looks like rear bike rack support broke, which then jammed the chain or derailleur.

Looks like that derailleur hanger is bent too. At least it's steel and can be bent back.

^ Beautiful sky!

Camped out in a particular curve on GMR yesterday to catch some of my buds on their descent. This is Steve M ... my oft riding partner, endurance cyclist.

So Photobucket won't allow 3rd party hosting anymore without buying a full account ($500 ... so I'm told).

That means bye-bye.

Anyone have any good suggestions for an alternative?
