That means bye-bye.

Anyone have any good suggestions for an alternative?
I'm using Flickr. But with Verizon buying Yahoo who knows? What's left? Imgur?

Cool pic! So was that the end of your ride, or did you walk around it?

I utilized my mad cyclocross skillz and kept going.

I actually broke many of the branches to the right so that people could get through but many were just turning around. There was a second tree down right behind the one pictured.

Today I latched onto a group from Alabama riding to Atlanta on the Silver Comet Trail. Girl was clowning around for the camera. The group was lit and really fun to ride with. They were doing "only" 150 miles.

It was. Finally got back from an out of town trip, parts were waiting for me, and put them on this morning. Straightened out the hanger as best I could; not perfect, but shifts are pretty smooth. Took a 14 mile spin early evening, and need to adjust the shifter a bit more. Trued up the wheel as best I could, not having a truing stand. One of the spokes really should be replaced, but that's a maintenance task that I haven't done before.

Good thing I bought a replacement chain as well, found one of the links was popped. I am still mystified as to what failed first. Of course I could not find my 20 year old chain break, so hit the bike shop close to my house right as they opened, and had them adjust the chain length.

Went with an Acera derailleur, and a KMC X8.99 chain, as I like the idea of the nickle plating.

Two friends and I cycled from Tokyo out to Mt Fuji (110 km), then up the toll road to the hiking trail head known as the Fifth Stage at 2305 m above sea level. We were above the clouds.

The descent from 2305 to 850 m was terrific fun. From there we crossed another mountain pass and descended all the way to the Pacific coast (another 60 km, almost all of it fast downhill).

230 km, 3300 m of elevation gain, liters of sweat, nice views!

This was on my way home Saturday, end of a near freshly paved road where someday they will build homes on 10 acre lots. Can't see all of them in this picture, but you can see 8 snow caped volcanoes/mountains from this spot.

We have an ice cream shop in East Peoria with the same design. It's not called King Kone but they must have had the same architect.
