Close. To get a clear background for the picture, had to carry it 30 yards from the parking area.

This is the route of the Red Clay Ramble gravel race in Middle Georgia.

The Red Clay Ramble was founded and the route laid out by Benny (Blues Dawg) Watson.

It was so windy on the Illinois Prairie that my wife is holding her helmet down.

My wife has survived breast cancer, an upright bike accident that yielded around 9 broken bones, a fall down some stairs 8 months ago that yielded another 8 broken bones all in the last 30 months..

Climbing Morrow Mountain on my newish Cervelo R3 Disc. Didn’t have to use my easiest gears!! Progress!! I really like the new 1320 gram carbon disc wheels. They sure climb better than those really heavy Mavics.

Browns Valley indeed. I actually lived out here for a few years in the early 80's. It was a lot different then.
