54.3
Are your chronometer and odometer THAT accurate?
(Between our five bikes, I get a 2-3% odometer variation, and my watch is always 5 minutes ahead of the real time).
I believe the 51 yo, though!

One hour and a half at a 13.5 mph pace. Lots of wind. Beautiful day, though...Low humidity, lots of sun, mid to upper seventies temperature.

As accurate as most I guess. I just always take a last look at my watch before taking off on my rides. The odometer feature on my computer breaks it down that closely. So before putting the bike away I take that last look again at the mileage. Even with all this modern technology & bike journals, I still just use a plain small spiral notebook to track ride info...mileage, weather, flats, etc. And yes it was 6:17 am when I clipped in and took off. Temps are rising fairly fast in Texas these days so I wanted to beat as much of the heat as possible.

Just a few miles today, to the Y and the hardware store. I am riding the KOM-10 this weekend, because there is nothing like riding a real American-made red-white-and-blue Schwinn on the 4th of July. The city is sponsoring a pancake breakfast and bike decorating contest; I think all I need to do is to show up with my Schwinn.

One hour and fifty minutes at 14 mph pace. Little longer ride for me, and it felt really good. Had a top end of 30+ mph. Balanced that out with a 3+ mph hilltopper grind...

I ride pretty much every day the last couple of months after my knees have gotten well enough to do so. Usually, it is 6-12 miles a day, with an occasionally longer trek. It makes me feel great each and every time. I almost dread when the season starts to change and I'll not be able to do so as frequently due to less daylight after work, rain, etc.

I rode with my 8 yr old grand daughter for 49 min 32 sec today....I know this because she timed the ride.
We have a deal that we trade cycling time with me for time - minute for minute, on my computer so she can visit her favourite website - Neopets.
She actually loves these rides - as I do, but I often have a hard time motivating her.
We explored some quiet suburban streets nearby looking for places she hadn't been to before.
BTW, we both rode on the footpath (sidewalk). Not exactly legal but condoned here if we ride with appropriate care....it's the one time I have no scruples about breaking the law i.e. when I'm supervising an 8 yr old kid on a bike.

Sometimes you do not feel like riding, but every wednesday it is time for me and my Tandem co-rider to have a quick blast, after work and before it gets dark. Wedenesday was one of those nights I did not want to ride. Co-rider was late aswell but we decided to get out and do a shorter ride than normal- Think we will do it again.
Only 20 miles on the road, but part was the same as our out routes to the hills. One 400yard climb we went for and got our highest speed ever up it. Previous high was 29.8-- we got 30.3mph recorded and we recovered faster on the other side. 2 mile drag on the road- dead flat smooth surface- previous highest average was 21.5-- got 28.8 with a side wind so no wind assistance. Had a cup of coffee and a bun at the seafront, Listened to the Band playing for a while, then blasted home. Good ride no tired legs, no aches, and still had time to tidy the garden from earlier on.

I'd like to have replied that she is outstanding since she's my grand daughter.....lol, but I think it's nearer to the truth that Neopets have created a fascinating but highly addictive website for kids.

I did about twenty miles on the San Gabriel river bike path--from Asuza to the dam and back. The scenery leaves much to be desired--quarries, etc.--but the path is in great condition, and I welcomed the chance to work on form w/o worrying about traffic. Aahh.

54m up-n-back to Knight's Ferry for an Eskimo Pie bar on the steps of the pre-Civil War general store....cool inside, dark wood floors, old fashioned because they're truly old cooler boxes, etc. A local biker (pedal style) haunt. Met a happy, "cute" young couple visiting from France who, during our 10 minute conversation in heavily inflected sort-of-English, didn't stop touching each other once. Felt like I was at the Tour! Between here and there saw the usual cows, horses, black oaks, etc. Cycling offers so much beyond just fitness!
P.S. DnvrFox....I hope I have your esprit when I'm you and your wife's age (58y.o. now).

41 miles today. I don't usually ride that far. 18.4 mph average. Nasty headwind on the last 15. And hot. And hills. Wa-a-a-ah.
