Weather improving?

Thanks to the weather- I have been spinning at the gym but today the forecasters started talking about some warmth coming onto our weather. Not so much warmer but the wind will be coming round to a southerly and so taking the 20mph wind from the North with a wind chill factor of -10f away from us.

But tonight a spinning class-If I can get there. The instructor is caught in a snow storm 10 miles away. There will be a class but not a hard one. In the meantime- I will be walking to the class as the roads are Iced due to a sudden drop in temps and yet more SNOW.

This is the car park at the Gym that was clear 5 minutes before this pic was taken.

Roll on Summer as I think Spring has been cancelled.

Not here but no storms like you are going through .44* 22 mile an hour wind and it gets down to 23* at night. We had the coldest March on record and we may have the same with April if this keeps up.On the bright side I don't have to cut the grass yet.

We had several days where spring was actually a feasible thought then last night and today reality was welcoming us back. Mobile, AL had winds in excess of 80mph, broke the cruise ship that went bonkers last month loose from its mooring and it crashed into another ship in the channel. Rained all day here and some wind gusts that made me rethink riding in the rain. It was warmer at 0500 when I left for work than it was this afternoon. Rain again tomorrow, they say.

We've still been getting teens (F) at night and upper-30s by mid-day - about like normal for late February. What -- you say it's April?

Heat wave today; I went to work in 29F and it's due to get up to 50!

As an early morning commuter, I can expect essentially an additional four weeks of cold-weather riding beyond what is considered the beginning of spring here in Boston.

Last weekend we got three straight days of 50+ temps, and dry except for a bit of rain on Sunday morning. Back in the 20's at night and low-to-mid 40's during the day this week, but it's shooting up within shouting distance of 60 and clear today.

Needless to say my new bike is on the roof of my car in the parking lot, and my kit is under my desk. C'mon 5:00!!!

Currently it looks like these temps are going to stick around through the weekend, though it's going to get windy, and the chance of precip increases, but we're definitely on a trend that I'm liking!

Ya just gotta be prepared to carpe that ol' diem when the good days pop up...

In Atlanta for a couple of days: 44F and drizzle, just like when we left the UK last October.
On to St Augustine tomorrow to ride a couple of days in 70+F

Package went through Kansas 70F and only 25mph gusts from the south. We didn't need the excess pollen though!
