What does it mean when your eyelids hurt?

Mrs. Grouch and I took our Kettweisel train out today. We didn't ride very far, we didn't tackle any hills, and we certainly didn't ride very fast. Now I hurt - all over. Mrs. grouch says you can't essentially take 6 months off and expect to start back where you left off. Do you think she might be right?

Overuse injury, too much eyelash-batting !

Seriously, I have no idea, save that if it's a burning sensation, for me that's usually a symptom of fever, as in cold or flu.

Higher than normal pollen count? Maybe apply a cold compress to the eyes?

In order to be a successful train
it's important to live by the following refrain.
The Engine has no legitimate excuse
to not head the wisdom of the Caboose!

I can see a top ten out of those lyrics, a nice melody some guitar riffs and maybe a group of backup singers...................

I was thinking a-Capella barbershop quartet, with the Base taking "Caboose" down to the basement at the end

Dry eyes because your sunglasses aren't blocking the wind, perhaps? I had glasses that didn't fit right and ended up with blurred vision after a ride, and despite eye drops I couldn't seem to clear it. Just for fun sometime, go to an Urgent Care clinic and tell them you have blurred vision. It's pretty interesting that no matter how many folks are there, you suddenly get whisked to the front of the line and seen immediately (the doctor is thinking stroke). Turned out it was just dry eyes after all, but I didn't have to wait long

I have to agree.

The Grouch men may be guilty of having done some pretty silly things, but we've always been able to attract the most desirable women.
