One things for sure, some of the characters that complain about a seat, or bar position on a bike I have had need to shut up.

Here's my one of a kind roadster. Not a racer, but does 125 miles just as well. Function and IGH reliability are first for me. The front fender is older than me. LOL. I chucked all the tinfoil parts it came with. This homemade stem is on all 3 of my bikes now. Stupid how it didn't have bottle mounts on a 2018 design bike.

Way back in post 991 or so, I showed the following bike right after purchase, tearr down and build back up. It has seen several k miles since then, with a couple of crashes without frame damage and finish degradation.
In the theme of this thread, it has been "UPGRADED" to Campagnolo Racing T 9v in back and triple up front. I do run out of cadence downhill early due to the max 52/13.

New bike yesterday - ready to go today
2020 Orbea Gain - Di2 Ultegra ebike delivered yesterday.
With only a few ‘down th block’ rides to make sure I know how to ride this beast, the only thing I can say is = it ain’t like my other bikes.
May take some getting used to.
….but looking forward to expanding my range, even if it feels much differently. Machine-like, not what I’m used to. Need saddle time experience. Haven’t ridden a ~30lb bike in ~60 years.

How's it going with the EBike? I have friends that have bought them. I feel that I would be cheating, but if it can extend my riding from 20 miles flat to longer rides with a few hills, maybe it's the answer.CHEERS

I can't deal with drops (never could), and vintage roadies bother my neck. To each his own.
I never turn down a vintage roadie if the price is right though. As in flip price.
This one was my size from last year but I knew there was no way I would find it comfortable. Off it went.

Just finished this:
... and will be taking it on a group ride in 3 hours. It's gonna be chilly, ~45°F, to start, but if the sun shows up, that will warm quickly. This is my second build with these cheap tires, and I've got to say, no complaints.
I had been posting this as a 1984 model, but after doing some research I found that it is actually an `83 - The `84 model would have Reynolds 531 main tubes, this bike has Tange Champion chrome-moly throughout. Now I guess I'll have to go back and change those dates... unless I can find something better to do. It's not winter yet!
