Here is what this old guy will ride for the '17 season. Modern celeste steel (riding Masi steel for the last 3-4 years). I feel like I'm 30 till I walk past a mirror! 
Semi fast tourista will be my riding style this year (replacing racer wannabe). To hell with aero!

I'm only interested in this kind of bike. I had a nice road bike once and did a few club rides on it but mainly it sat idle. This is my 1992 Trek 930 Single Track. Bought it used in 2003 and it has just sat waiting for an overhaul which it finally got last spring, but then I still didn't ride it - until today.

I have two steel bikes and two carbon ones.

Older peoples bikes
Hello,
here are my bikes.
The De Rosa i bought in 1988, with this bike i did the dolomites and the Gross Glockner in Austria.
The Colnago Master was the last present from my wife, before she passed away. I will never ride it
again.
The black Klein pinnacle is my most used bike, bought 1991.
The Klein attitude i bought 1993. This is the sparebike for the black.
My Colnago's you can find in th Colnago Owners thread.
My age is 58.

Yeah. I don't know the specifics of them but a lot of people in my town have been putting gas-powered motors on their bicycles. Supposedly they can go about 25 mph without pedalling. Helluva lot of noise and inefficiency abounds as they seem to run out of gas after a few miles. Personally I don't get the appeal.

Got to ride the loop twice that week and really enjoyed it. I hope to do it again this year! Now riding on rollers, I'm not that brave, I lock into a trainer for my indoor riding.

Thanks for posting the picture and the location info. I'm south of you in Northwest suburban Atlanta and have done some running and cycling on the Blue Ridge up that way, a little around the GA/TN border.
Would love to get up that way more. Please feel free to post suggested routes and such.

I don`t like to think of myself as old but young at heart (60).I really like my CADD 10 the most and ride it the most. Sometimes I ride my Synapse if I know I am going to be riding mostly long straight roads for a long ride. I haven`t road my Gary Fisher mountain bike off road in a long time but I did put some smooth tires on it lately and turned it into a commuter bike for running errands to the store and around the neighborhood.

I got myself a shiny new Rivendell Clem Smith Jr. L-style this year (at 55) to go with my shiny new hip joints. I'm thrilled with all of them!

My ride.... 1992 Miyata 914. I purchased new as my first real road bike. I have no need for a better/faster/lighter bike, so I just keep riding it.

Very zen...After accumulating nine bikes in my small shop, constantly working on them and going broke buying parts, I have been looking for the ONE bike that I can say the same about. But then the scope of my bicycle use dictates that I have at least two bikes to fulfill all the various "missions" I typically ride. One of them has to be festooned with racks and fenders. And then there are the rides I go on with the "Gentlemen Cyclists"; I need an English bike for those, preferably with Sturmey Archer power.
There, see how that works? Rationalization is such a wonderful, insidious thing.
