I bought that one 2 yrs. ago for my 70th birthday. I think it cost me $1700. It's 105 and the best shifting of all my bikes.

I bought mine from Velomine which is local to me. They had them on closeout and I think I payed slightly less for mine. Heck of a nice bike.

I added one this week, a 2015 Focus Raven MB I found on Craigslist. I've been losing weight for the past couple of months but seem to have leveled off, so I'm going to up the exercise game a bit and add MB on dirt trails in addition to the usual hybrid rides on paved trails.

So you toured on the folder or you took it with you in a car and did day rides? Were you traveling the whole year? I'd like to hear more.

We are full time rvers and the bike was used for day rides. We did spend about 5 months total in various parts of Florida which has great trails. I had a 3 month stretch I road everyday. This bike has pedaled in more than 25 states. My only complaint is the 20 inch wheels which give a harsh ride on chipseal and not stable on gravel. I recently purchased a 27.5x2.0 Raleigh Redux which has worked well on/off road but sits outside on a bike rack. Not happy about that. My Xootr Swift is an awesome ride 90% of the time.

My trusty Trek 800 Antelope this weekend, fitted with $200 500W electric motor and an even cheaper fire hazard battery. I thought Spring was here, but it's still too chilly.

Followed by my latest project, a $150 Sundeal Minivello, fitted with a $200 250W front motor and $310 bottle battery. Seat upgrade too.

Both ridden at 12-14 mph. I find the Trek just rolls and rolls. When riding with my wife on her electric bike, I can often turn off my power and pedal along. I don't see that rolling ability on the mini. I have some new Kendas that night help.

I'm 53. That's about as low as it'll go, but I'm pretty dialed in, fit wise, so super comfortable even doing centuries.

Not bad, especially for a deepish wheelset (60/67). But it is super light, at <1100g. I ride up and down the Ironman route in Kona all the time, and even rode up Haleakala with it. Where it can get a bit sketchy is long/fast descents.

Season five for this Salsa Vaya. I seem to always have 8-12 bikes around to ride, but this one is referred to as my "real bike"
