And I'm too damn old to break in another Brooks.

I'm jealous of all your water bottle storage! On my longest ride so far (12 miles, lots of hills so it was hard work for me) I drank all my water & had to stop to refill my bottle at a bar we biked past. I've been debating getting a rack for the back so I'll have somewhere to store more bottles, vs maybe getting a Camelbak but I'm not sure I want to wear something on my body because I get warm easily. So far I just have one handlebar bag where I keep maps, a small purse & my phone. Decisions, decisions...

My two road bikes are both vintage rides.
The first is a Dutch Gazelle built on a frame that I bought in Holland in 1976. I hung all the parts on it myself.
The second is a 1986 Team Fuji that I bought a little more than a year ago and rehabilitated.
These are some of the bikes that made my blood boil back in the day. These days they just make me smile.

A 2008 Scoot SUB 30, kind of an entry level "urban" bike. Fairly light (23#?) aluminum frame and fork, super sturdy construction and wheels, with old Madden bags, drop bars, MTB seat, 
and a pair of Panaracer RiBMos 26x1.25. Comfortable, fast enough, good climber and an easy carry for books, groceries or sports gear. I take it out for a 17 mile loop on the Greenway every morning, and use it instead of a car much of the day. I do about 500 miles a month, at about 15 MPH on level ground. Always a good time.
