Regarding HRM and HR variability, there is a lot of info on the net. Google "Polar", "scattergram" and "heart". One of the first articles https://ajpheart.physiology.org/cgi/c...ull/274/2/H424 gives a very interesting analysis regarding HR variability, level of fitness and age. I have a Polar with downloading and graphing function which I like alot. The Scattergram is called, in the med jargon, a Poincaré plot.
