It's finally here!!!!

Spring, that is.

After waiting for what seemed an eternity Old Man Winter has finally left town. I took a 35 mile excursion to many of my favorite spots and am happy to report that the 'hood' is waking back up!

Flowering bushes are glowing in the sunlight. That's right, I said sunlight!

I noticed the Heron is out and about (at least I think it's a Heron).

...and it looks like the critters have been celebrating christmas, or maybe this is their version of a May pole ...

Mrs. Swan is nesting on her eggs again this season. She seems to have some visiters on the nest today...

They definately don't look like little swans, that's for sure!!

One thing is missing though...

This is how the same stretch of river looked last year. I miss the old girl.

Well tomorrow looks like another nice day. I can't wait to see what I see on tomorrow's ride!!

Glad to see things are changing on the weather front. Same has happened over here but we do not have the Finer points to make it perfect yet. Cool nights with some frost- Cooling wind taking the air temp down but the sun is out with only a few clouds to spoil it. But there is a North/South divide over here. Sunny but cool down here while the North has Rain--Again.

Missed the pics over the winter so keep them coming.
