Happy Birthday, Miss Kenton. Recently on a different thread you revealed your life’s pursuit, and I wrote this reply:
I’m in Pathology! Who are you?
by James de Boston
(With apologies to Emily Dickinson (“I’m Nobody! Who are you?”)
I’m in Pathology! Who are you?
Are you in Pathology, too?
Then there's a pair of us — don't tell!
Then they’d want a free lab test, you know.
How exciting to be in Pathology!
To know answers to everything
To give test results the livelong day
And send the bills – ka-ching!
That thread closed, but in the true fellowship of Pathology, I thought you’d be amused to know that just this Monday, May 13, our lab held its annual celebration of Dr. George Papanicoulau’s birthday and I hope that yours has been as celebratory.
As one of our Cytologists said, “In Cytology, alcohol not a problem, it is a solution that fixes everything.”
