For the month of May, I rode 472.2 miles and climbed 17,191 feet, which works out to about 118 miles and almost 4,300 feet per week. I'll be 62 this summer and work a full-time mortgage-paying day job as well as teach two nights a week at the local community college.

Last year at age 65 I also averaged 100 mi. a week. We did a Saturday club ride of about 40-50 mi. and two weekday rides of 25-30 miles. You don't have to be fast you just have to be consistent and have the time. This year thanks to weather and other commitments I think I'm averaging 50-75 mi./wk.

If the thunderstorms ever let up, my mileage will go up a bit, but right now it's just 60 miles per week, if I'm lucky.

At 73, in the range of 70-90 miles per week. The weather has not been conducive to my usual early morning daily rides of 20-30 miles, and we have had more than our share of interfering problems that require my physical presence a whole lot more around here. Since it is now June, maybe the weather will ease off a bit. During the "season," I usually do about 100 miles per week, in addition to about 10 hours each week of swimming, walking and weight lifting.

I'm 55 and probably do between 130 to 200 miles per week depending on the weather and schedule. This past week I did 171 miles.

At 65 and still working I've done about 100/week average over the last five years. It varies seasonally though between 50 and 150ish.

Like Billdonn, bruce19, and car5car's friend, I'm 65 and ride about 100 mi a week. The past 2 years I've exceeded 8,000 mi each year, but this year my focus is Triathlons, so my bike miles are down a bit.

I'm only 56 and recovering from severe health problems, I'm up to 85-90 miles a week now, and that is on an upward trend recently. Riding is the best thing I do for my fitness and health.

I'm 68 and ride 100-125 miles a week depending on our "busy" retirement schedule and the weather.

I'm 55, ride 150 to 150 + per week. I've never considered tracking my climbing as there are many many hills here in central NC. Lp

It's hilly where I ride so though I may ride 120 miles/wk, half of them are down hill.

So true and glad to see you are on track for improved health. It is one of those things that could save your life and even if it doesn't come to that dramatic an event it still makes life better every day.

I turned 57 today and have been biking since March. In May I average 100 miles a week and hope to continue that average until October when the time changes.

I'm 67, my riding partner is 69. Weather permitting, we ride between 100 - 200 miles per week. One to two days of rest (usually meaning mowing lawns, and other chores.)

I'm 66, and I ride a total of 100 miles to work and back every week. For a while, it was 125 miles, but we got a new office. I'm too lazy to drive, except on weekends.

We are 72 and 73 and typically ride 75 miles per week on our tandem at 16 mph average and I normally ride an additional 35-40 on my single at 17+ mph av. (I did manage 28.9mph in a flat sprint last week, but the bugger just beat me!)

The month of May, 404 miles or a bit over 90 miles per week. Also 21000 ft of climb for the month.
