Hadn't had a flat for a long, long, long time. Rode on wet roads this evening - wet enough that I had put on both fenders. The wet probably contributed to picking up a very small jagged piece of something that eventually worked its way through the tire tread, then the kevlar belt ---> resulting in a very small tube puncture. Even though I flatted, didn't feel the tire go soft until I was less than a block from home.
I'm safe from flatting for a while now, right? Isn't that how these things work?

Sorry, not safe. I've had 4 flats this year on my trail bike which is 4 flats more than I've had in the previous 5 years. All on my trail bike and all caused by thorns. On the upside-I've gotten a lot faster at fixing them!
