2nd week back...75mi...Check!
Today was the end of my 2nd week back on my bike after two months off due to a bike injury (clavicle). My wife and I went out with the hopes of doing a 50mi day but we took a break in the middle for a snack and then continued on for 75mi. Tired legs but not bad from my vantage point. Best part was my wife being with me the entire ride.

Nicely done.

Cool. :thumb::thumb: one for each of you!

Thanks. We have a great time. Now I have to learn to adapt my vegan diet a bit better. Bigger portions before going for a ride perhaps.

Great job! I bet it's great to be back on the bike.

Astoundlingly great. I had ridden or been on a spinning bike 3-5times a week for several years. The sudden stop was quite literally depressing. I had a really hard time coping with the downtime. I spent a lot of time watching bike races.:)

Good Deal!
Curious, where did you go to crank out 75 miles? |
I went around a bit from home off Badger Road into town, around Farmer Loop, out the University and back home, then a bit of lunch and out to Chena Lakes and back. I'm glad we didn't do a lot of hills. I've done 350mi or so since July 6 when I got back on my bike but that 75mi flat ride (mostly) was pretty much it for me. Now to build some hill work back into my riding. With Nordale closed it's really a bit of a pain. Either throw the bikes in the truck or add 30mi to any ride to get to some hills.

Interesting route. Not close to those miles yet. But I'm marking it down for when I am.
