Great article: How Exercise Changes Fat & Muscle Cells

https://tinyurl.com/kdnbwqb

Great article in the N.Y. Times about recent scientific research into how exercise exerts its beneficial effects at the molecular level. Scientists are finding that exercise causes the body to switch-on, and switch-off, genes (over 7,000 of them, in some cases), which have profound effects on fat and muscle cells. Some of these effects are seen after only one workout!

Exercise makes me happy. When I'm happy I don't need to gorge to be satisfied which results in a slimmer me which in turn makes exercise more satisfying which makes a happier me.

Sounds like the developing evidence supports intense exercise (e.g. sprinting) to get the greatest change in methylization. Of course, no way to be sure more methylization is a good thing yet.

EDIT

Link works fine on my laptop but not the iPad for some reason. Interesting article and more evidence that one should put the hammer down at least occasionally.
