I think their original purpose was to offer enough resolution to permit panoramic shots to be displayed ... I've got a few of them up there. I don't think they have a cloud-based stitching program, though.

MickeyMaguire, if you want larger res images, it's better to host the image on Photobucket, flicker, etc. and use the image tags to show the pic here. If you have a 4:3 sensor, it's silly to use other formats. You can crop to get those formats.

Briefly, I right click on an image, choose to send it to imgur.com, then use some keyboard macros to copy the link location to the clipboard and into a post. That's one reason I post so many pictures. |
Tomorrow, my wife and I plan to ride through farmland west of us. I hope to get some nice shots on the ride. I'll post a couple.
