HawkOwl, son and DnvrFox Great Ride, lousy video

HawkOwl, his son and I had a wonderful ride today - the fall colors were absolutely gorgeous against a blue sky and a very "crisp" day. Stopped for lunch along the way. I can report that HawkOwl has made an unbelievable amount of progress in his rehabilitation since the last time we rode together.

However, I find that the 2 hr video I took was beautiful - except that the camera was pointed down about 5 degrees too far, and I got some wonderful shots of cement trail

So, I am still learning on the camera - the other one I ordered came in today, and I mounted it on the mtn bike.

Just a glorious day.

OK - the public demands - here are a couple of screen shots from the video - just to give you a feel of the 20 miles of trail. Hawkowl and his son are in the pics.

Nope, taking advantage of some good air fares to visit my son and a friend. One of very few positive outcomes from my trauma and rehab has been more frequent visits to family and friends.

We had a great time. I was able to get on and off the bike without all the drama of just a few weeks ago. The scenery and fellowship was great.

One lesson learned: Don't try to ride a bike after a Subway sandwich.
