schwin areodyne or trainer
I have had a schwin areodyne for several years and I ride it off and on. I want to stay in shape over the winter here in Michigan but wonder if a trainer is a better option. I am going to try and ride if there are some breaks in the weather but that is not always happening here. i don't mind spending the money for a trainer (not the super delux ones but if the differences are not that great I may just stay with the schwin.

The Schwinn is beautiful, quality machine and has the added benefit of working more upper-body muscles. As long as you can get in some actual riding as well, I'd stick with it. Winter's a good time for cross-training in general.

Personal preference: as much as I hate trainers, I absolutely hate aero dynes. No such thing as super spins on one, and they make me feel like a bird being sucked up into a jet turbine. They're noisy. They just suck.
