Drinking enough?

One of the worries that many have when they start riding but this came to my attention so you can keep hydrated on a ride

I like Miller, the champagne of beers. Enough ?

I live in what has been called "a Nice little Drinking Town, with a Fishing Problem"

30 bars and restaurants, several Microbreweries and 3 taxi companies.. to get you home ..

The water out of te Faucet is the expensive part..

Thanks for the link. I thought it was interesting to work my way through it with several different weather combinations. One thing I would worry about is the subjective nature of one or two of the questions. For example, the level at which one sweats or the level of exertion seem somewhat subjective to me.

Had one of these last night. Not bad. I love the name and the logo.

That hydration calculator is way behind the times as it does not deal with people over 65. FAIL!

Carbonfiberboy 01-16-14 04:40 PM

Your body is a real-time hydration calculator. If you're not peeing every 3 hours, you need to drink more. If your forearms are dry, you need to drink more. If you are peeing every 2 hours or less, you should drink less. Of course that's for those of us with relatively normal prostates. You geezers with the giant ones will have to adjust that a little. ;)

There are two kinds of problem drinkers; those who drink too much and those who don't drink enough.

OldTryGuy 01-16-14 05:09 PM

If I drank that much, I'd never get more than a block without a stop.

Gerryattrick 01-16-14 05:11 PM

Just got in from the pub. I'm fully hydrated

I didn't like the age slider. What people after 65 don't exercise?

Barrettscv 01-16-14 05:49 PM

The duration of the activity is limited to 2.5 hours. That's an average duration ride, IMO.
