Anyone riding a BH road bike?

Doing a little shopping for the wife and the LBS has a great deal on some 2014 closeouts. Even includes disc brakes. Looks to be made in Spain.

Yep. I think the one I was looking at was a Quartz 105 but I could swear it had disc brakes because I was talking about not being able to put some lighter wheels on it that I already had.

Rarely see them on the road but a couple years ago one of the women in Road Bike Action said it was her favorite road frame, and she gets to ride lots of them.

(minor site surfing) Company is Based in Spain , so never see many out west , Taiwan is closer ..

Though so much of bike production has been shifted there they could be off shored production there too .

Orbea, Another Spanish brand does that too.. its all about being 'Competitively Priced'

The LBS doing the set-up for sale is often the difference in similar priced and equipped bikes. labor and skill.

I've seen a few at some of the charity rides I participate in and a few at the MUP that I ride at. There's only 4 stores in Florida that sell them and they are all in the Miami area. I would imagine that they would be no different than any other bike engineered in Europe and manufactured in Taiwan. Seems like the only company that actually manufacturers their entire line of bikes, anymore, is Giant. Since they make bikes for almost everyone else, I wouldn't be surprised if BH bikes aren't made at the Giant plant.
