For future reference, you can either pay a membership fee to get ad-free BF (note to self: get that done) , or you can right click a video that is partially hidden by ads to copy it into another window.

He is pretty amazing. Cycling Weekly has a few videos from him "above the fold" today: Danny MacAskill's Drop and Roll trials video - Cycling Weekly

Also, if you are into cool stuff folks can do with mt. bikes and haven't seen Life Cycles, check this out:

I saw the first video about a month ago in a thread in a climbing forum I frequent.

5.10 (the sponsor) makes the best shoe rubber out there as well as a line of climbing specific shoes.
A year or two ago the owner of the company, based in Redlands California sold to Adidas making the founder an instant millionaire.

The market for climbing shoes is a bit limited and this is part of the parent companies effort to turn the brand into a more general "adventure" sports brand.

I just hope they don't ruin it and keep making the shoe rubber available.

Funny you should mention membership...... I tried to do just that ------ but they only take paypal which I refuse to use because of a problem I had with them many years ago/

Awesome. Like all of these type of videos, I am sure it was shot in segments with numerous tries. But no matter, awesome! My wife and I were wondering how the hell some of those high shots were made- nobody would be crazy enough to get up there too. The credits had a "drone pilot". Pretty cool.

LOL, you haven't met many climbers then.

But yeah, some shots were obviously done with a drone.

Somewhere on the intardnet is a reel of Mcaskill's outtakes on another venture.

I'll bet the outakes on this one were as spectacular as the finished product.

Ashton, his equal ended up confined to a wheelchair. it's all fun until gravity extracts it's price.

I don't know a lot about the filming of bike movies. I can tell you that helicopters are used pretty extensively to film ski film segments.

Climbing photogs/video guys... they are close to insane. I always thought they would make a better story than some of the climbers.

That DOES NOT look fun at all. Too bumpy and some places would be down-right scary for me.

Why? Nothing is wrong with your link, we just like to gripe about ads from time to time. Paid membership has its advantages, but I still get google ads in the link while watching that nut do insane things there.

I love that scene, the looks on the kids face when he is trying to talk like Clint and the barber about things and gripe like us old grumps can do about most anything.... Clint is a veteran, even if he was an Army puke, he played Gunny Highway perfectly, for a doggie.

Love Danny MacKaskill videos. While not outdoors, his Imaginate video for Red Bull is also awesome. Be sure to watch the out takes at the end to see the pain he goes through on the way to one of those flawless finished products. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sv3xVOs7_No

One of Danny's first videos. Not as daring but great music AND location shooting. Posted this one a long time ago.
