Welcome to 50+! Remember that Middle Adulthood lasts through age 65 - you have 15 years to go until you are Old.

Should I ask how much your Kestrel weighs? I probably don't wanna know, as my recumbent singles each weigh about thirty pounds.

I haven't weighed her...yet.But she is VERY light. Maybe you can get an idea based on the components?

Bar.....................................Easton EC90 Ergo
Stem..................................Profile H2O
Kestrel Talon (2010) frame....Carbon Fiber
Saddle................................San Marco Ponza
Crankset.............................FSA SLK Carbon 53/39
Wheelset/Tires.....................Mavic Ksyrium Elite/Vittoria Rubino Pro Slick III (700x23)
Drivetrain/Brakes.................Shimano 105

Hope that can give youan idea of how light she is.

I guess that means we have to let another kid into our forum.

Congrats -- get out and do your obligatory birthday ride, now that you have a "no excuses" bike.
