Happy Thaksgiving to All

The title says it all, and a recent newspaper column just addressed the importance of an attitude of gratitude in one's mental, emotional, and physical health.

Happy Thanksgiving, 50+ers -- dawn has broken, and I am off for my traditional T-day ride -- combined age of rider (1950 model) and bike (1959 model) is about 120 years. :)

My thanks to everyone here, the support and encouragement I've received from the folks here is amazing. I hope that all of you have a great Thanksgiving, and to our brothers and sisters on Canada, England/UK and other locales, thanks to you also. Ride as much as you can.

I'm planning on a little ride this morning, too, but my combined years of rider,(1954 model) and bike (2010 model) is slightly less than yours.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

Our gym is open from 5 am to 1 pm, so we're off for some fun Stepmill work and weights. Then I have to clean house. Thankful for still being able to do it.

Among the very many things I am thankful for, I am thankful for all the great info/motivation from folks on this forum. Since it's only 8 degrees out and slippery, no riding for me today and my gym is closed. That's okay as I can use a day off. Very excited to see my son and his fiance later today, haven't seen them since April.
And, mucho thankful that in less than a week we should be in sunny Clearwater FL and able to ride bike, run-walk the beach etc. as much as I want for the next 5-6 months! Happy Thanksgiving and Peace to all!

I am thankful for this knee brace http://www.townsenddesign.com/Townse...apeimage_9.png without which, I walk with a very painful limp.

I am thankful I don't need it for cycling.
I am thankful for 188 rides and 5,530 miles so far this year, all ridden rubber side down.

Thankful for family and friends. Bikes, for sure. And a good bike ride this morning, cold and windy and lovely.
