Merry Christmas to everyone from west central Florida. Its just the two us so my wife said I could go riding today. Should be in the low 60s(F). She said she'll tough it out on the sofa watching the Humphrey Bogart marathon on GET TV and the 24 hour marathon of "A Christmas Story" (You'll shoot your eye out!) on TNT/TBS.

Looking forward to my xmas day ride here in my fair city of Des Moines IA. Looks like the snow/slush/traffic won't be too bad; the traffic jam around the xmas tree this morning, on the other hand, is a bit frenzied.

Gifted our tandem with a new rear shift cable on Christmas Eve. (3100 mm size was just a bit longer than needed). Family get-together the evening before and another one today.
Odds of world peace are pretty slim this year but Mom Nature may allow a bike ride today and/or tomorrow - no White Christmas in Central IN.
Wishing a good holiday to all!

Merry Christmas to one and all!

Should I post the photo of me trying on the XXL Nashbar bib tights my wife gave me? ...I didn't think so, either.

Merry Christmas everyone. It's supposed to be 54 and not raining (for the first time this week), so I'm going for a ride on my new bike!

I got the flu shot this year, my wife did not. We both have the flu. Sigh.

None the less, the Lord has blessed us this year...and post-heart attack, given me another year! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all.

Merry Christmas to all from the land of OZ.

30 mpH sustained winds with gusts to 40 MPhil mean no ride today.

Merry Christmas, brothers and sisters.

22 chilly (upper 30's) miles in central Louisiana this morning. One set of kids here. Remaining set en route.

Food attack is a couple of hours away followed by opening of Christmas goodies.

Around 130 miles ridden since I've been here, but I suspect that will not be enough to counteract all of the calories thus far and to be ingested.

Merry Christmas, everyone. I can't thank all the members of the 50+ forum enough for all the great advice I've gotten here since I took up cycling three years ago.

To me, that's more impressive than a 60 mile bike ride. I hate riding my trainer....bored silly.

Did a 28 mile ride Christmas day. There is a MUP near my house that runs along a river which has plenty of plenty of water views and rollers. The weather hit 40 in Des Moines yesterday and melted most of the snow by the afternoon. I appreciate riding any day in the winter when my water bottles don't ice up, . It was a beautiful day full of sunshine; I especially enjoyed watching the sun go down as I turned home.

@bikemig, sure is a change from this time last year! Great day to be on the road! Even here in Newfoundland the temps fit 40+ today. Did some hills today.
