Congratulations! :thumb:Truly awesome, you two are just a few years behind my mom and dad who are celebrating their 63rd in a couple weeks. :)
It's so great to see people that say "I do" and truly mean it and 40 years on a tandem. Wow you're stoker is a saint!

Congratulations on making that decision to stay married, no matter what. Great example and leadership!

Mazel Tov! To 120!

Congratulations, that really is an awesome achievement and you're both great adverts for cycling.

My wife and I have had 30 years of happy marriage. Given that we've been married for 46 years that's not a bad percentage!

;)Only joking, hope my wife doesn't see this.

You two rock.

Well congrats. The very best "divorce machines" I have seen: SUVs and minivans. A few other vehicles, to be sure, but SUVs and minivans seem to take the prize here.
And just where do I see them? Heh-heh... On route 126, In Concord. Yep, right where Walden Pond ("Lake Walden", if you grew up around here) When: On hot, summer days,
when the heat and humidity are soaring. I take a ride out that way, and I always make it a point to mosey back via route 126. What I see: The reservation fills to capacity
on those days. So, all these vehicles are lined up on 126, waiting for the time when they will re-open. And.. None of the occupants are smiling. They all have this horrible look
of dread. Thus, I have always wondered just how many marriages/relationships begin their trip to splitsville, right there. And cyclists? Well, we just kind of ride past.

I thought my 34 years was doing ok, but against 60 years I'm still in the minor leagues.:) Congrats on a great landmark. Hope my wife and I make it that far

Wow - Congrats!

You two are truly inspirational! We're 34 yrs. married, 8 years a tandem team, and you've set the bar, Rudy.

They say wherever your relationship is headed, the tandem will get you there faster. I see how that has worked for you, and we're nipping at your heels.

Retro Grouch 03-12-15 02:52 AM

"Whichever way your relationship is headed a tandem will get you there quicker."

Mrs. Grouch and I don't have quite as many years, either together or on a tandem, as you two - but we're close and we're still having fun!

Congratulations!

Thank you all!
Little anecdote: when we went to get our marriage license in 1955, the fee was $2.
Kay handed me a one dollar bill and said "here's my half."
A great start: share and share alike!

Wow inspirational! Very happy for you!

ps: like someone else mentioned, I too had to look twice at the alleged birdie! Love the "growing old is not for sissies" tagline!
