Participated in Cycle for Survival
This was my 3rd year, it's a fund raiser for Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. 100% of the money goes to find cures to rare and underfunded cancer research.
My team raised $23,041.
$23,041 and you can still donate until the end of March.

Well done, sir, very well done. Great cause and it looks like a nice workout for your gang, too.

There were 200 bikes crammed into the gym, maybe 600 people total and the music was insanely loud. I had to wear ear plugs.
At the end of the event one of the speakers was a doctor from MSKCC and he told use that due directly to the funds raised in past years by Cycle for Survival, they developed a new drug for a rare Leukemia that is going into final trails as he speaks. He went on to say this was the first new drug developed in 20 years and he fully expects it to be approved. And that there are new ideas that this years funds will pay for and the future looks bright.
