Looking at buying second hand bike without trying first.

I'm looking at a Scott Plasma 2 Ltd. Just wondering If this would suite a person with a long torso and arms? As I have read a couple of threads talking about torso and so on. These things are over my head. I have a decent road bike, But I'm looking at getting a Time Trail bike, Only looking at this bike because I have a Scott road bike want to stay the same I guess.

I do half and quarter triathlons, but I eventually want to do the full thing in possibly the next couple years. So looking at this bike now.

Any suggestions/help/criticism (lol), will be much appreciated :)

Having no experience fitting time trial bikes, I'd suggest visiting a shop or two or three to get sized on some frames. Then I'd go through the online catalogs to compare these bikes with the Scott. The key measurements will be stack and reach.

Your build indicates a long reach to accommodate your torso and short stack for your long arms. These can be accommodated by juggling stem length and rise (or drop) and saddle setback, but balance over the bike and its affects on handling and power will impose some limits.
