Saddle measurement numbers - help needed

When I see a saddle measurement that includes two numbers such as 235mm x 175 mm, which number is the width? I know I need to consider the width of my sit bones relative to the width of the seat, but I can't tell from saddles that include measurements with two numbers, which would be the width to consider.

Most saddles are longer than they are wide.

235 the saddle length x 175 is the saddle width.
