Go with stack and reach or TT?
i'm looking for a frame. i know which one i want. thing is the stack and reach is very close to my current bike which i enjoy riding. but TT is on the short side. if i go with TT the next size has stack that's almost 35 mm longer.
which one do i go with stack and reach or TT? |
Go with the stack and reach measurements.
Is there a difference in the seat tube angle between the two frames? If the seat tube is steeper, that will account for the shorter top tube measurement, despite the reach being the same. |

Looks to me like the difference between endurance fit or competitive fit. Which bike(s) are we talking? edit: if, in fact, the shorter top tubed bike results in a slightly cramped position, it can take a longer stem. Or slam it. Also the drawback of a small number of sizes to choose from. |
