Fitting a Roll Low Entry
I've got the seat adjusted for height, fore and aft, and tilt but not certain how to set the handlebars. I'm used to drop bars. Have searched the Web w/o success. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I believe that all you can do with the stock stem/bar combination is to rotate the bars in the stem. I was told that the stem is not adjustable vertically when I asked about this at the LBS where I bought mine. There is some type of stem that you can buy that will allow the bars to be raised & lowered vertically.

Looks to me like it has an ordinary threadless aluminum stem. They come in a zillion angle and length varieties. Your LBS can help explain. Huge variety and inexpensive on Amazon if you know what you want, i.e. specs.
Stem spec says "Forged alloy, 17-degree rise, 31.8mm clamp" So if you want the bars lower, simply take the stem off and put it back on upside-down. Doesn't say how long it is, but one can measure center-to-center. |
Stem Mod
Yes, I figured out I need a stem extender and have ordered one.

Which one did you order? Thanks.

Got it installed and there is plenty of length in the cables so they don't bind. I'll post more when I've ridden for awhile. |
