Cleat placement

Just wondering If anyone has a good fitting procedure for lateral cleat placement. I have trouble with my foot rubbing on the crank arm and occasionally suffer from lateral knee pain. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm interested in this topic as well. I don't have any advice for you, tjk, but I will be following this thread to see what's suggested.

Does your LBS offer fitting services?

Closest store is about 45 minutes away and I'm not sure if they offer just a cleat fitting. I only started having this problem after I switched my crankset.
