Ok fitting for a kickstand?

I'm wondering if this kickstand is ok. Can it somehow destroy the frame?

It's a double butted frame.

Is it best to get something between the kickstand and the frame that protects?

Its maybe aluminum... Butting is making the tube wall thinner in the center, thicker on the ends

without changing the outside diameter , usually applies just to the main tubes .

stays tend to be straight gage. taking a regular tube and forming a taper in them thickens the wall ..

I utilised a similar stand for a number of years calleda Greenfield kickstand

which I enjoyed using.
When I built my latest bike I could no longer use that type of stand due to my disk brake being mounted in the position inside the seatstay/chainstay triangle.
The alternative I chose which I'm over the moon with is a clickstand
