Question Purchased Aero Bars, do I need to adjust bike bar height or seat?

Hi,

I purchased my first pair of Profile Design Carbon Stryke Aero bars, lightly used, for a great price! Now I'm wondering how to install them. Do I need to adjust the height of my handle bars, and/or my seat height?

Currently, I'm fitted to my bike pretty perfectly, LBS did it.

Thank you!

Matthew

Depends on your objectives. The aero bars on my road bike are set to give me about the same back angle as my low hoods position. So I didn't change anything. Works fine. I use mine to give my arms and hands a break on long rides and to punch into it on the flat when pulling or riding solo. Even set relatively high like that, they are slightly more aero than my low drops position, due to hiding my arms. Since my back angle is unchanged, the rest of my fit can also be unchanged.
