always take marketing hype with a grain of salt ...
Because one is replaceable ( not a bad thing per se ) doesn't mean that the non replaceable counterpart has any problems. Sure I have heard of one guy in Brazil who seems to have that issue on a dahon speed D 7 from several years back ? ( don't know how old that bike is )
Don't know if this is a perceived problem or real either...
otherwise I have replaced one frame last year ( got a sweet deal from Dahon and didn't have to charge all that much to the customer ) That's 5 ( ?) years of being pretty much in the public eye for solving all Dahon problems worldwide. That's 5 years of Dahon producing 300000 to 500000 thousand bikes a year worldwide also ...

Plus as tcs wrote above .. the Vector has a different clamp altogether .. :-)

Not to worry

A lot depends on personal taste ...... stiffness ... compare apples with apples ... like a shorter non adjustable handlepost versus a long adjustable one extended all the way ... !!!! Frame wise ... hmm yes.. its the difference driving a car with 333 hp versus 350 hp ...
I cant feel that difference
