Amazon Folding Bike for a BARGAIN!
 

So I brought my friend to the LBS that I go to and he purchased a Dahon Speed D7 since his budget is $600 taxed, good choice IMO between a Vybe and the Speed. The other day his twin bought a Best Choice Products Shimano 6 Speed Bike Fold Storage Folding Bike from Amazon for $140 shipped! What a bargain! ! ! Today, the package arrived and I got a call from him to help him build the bike. The bike was pretty much built already except for the rear reflector. So I just tightened up the brake levers and tried to adjust the brakes. I think for 140 you got some of your money back from the fenders and the rack, but that's about it. I kept on telling him to buy a more respected brand like dahon or at least citizen. Not sure how long the bike would hold up to, just hope he don't kill himself when the bike decides to give up on him. With the exception of the handlebar, the brakes and the brake levers, the bike seems pretty well built though. I personally really wouldn't trust the bike let alone ride it in hilly NY with a lot of car traffic

I don't think you have to worry about the bike "giving up on him". It's heavy, will probably creak, and the brake pads won't be very grippy, but it'll probably plod along inefficiently longer than anyone would care to put up with it.
