Mezzoooooooh my god!... CRASH!! Spare parts query

Hi there, I had a pretty bad crash on my Mezzo d10 last night and bent the front wheel quick release bolt. I'm not even thinking of bending it back and weakening it, but does anyone know if its a special part or will a normal quick release bolt fit on it?

I'm going to give the bike some love as there is also a bit of wobble in the headset.

Thank you for your help

If its a pre 2008 bike then not sure.
Later bike is relaterively standard qr but with a locking bolt to set it.
Headset is threadless so allen key adjust.
Forks and integrated mudguard are about£100 with the better later QR( post 2008).

Hey bhykte, thank you for coming back to me. I'll take the qr to the shop with me, I think its post 2008, I got it second hand, but its a D10 so that was the last one they made I think. I've tried tightening the headset but there is still movement and a creaking noise when riding. I think the bearings might be shot. I'll take it in and get it looked at and the forks.

Hi a D10 will be the later set up.

Do you know how to adjust a threadless headset?
If not.
Loosen the two bolts on the stem clamp slightly, then tighten the headset bolt. Tighten it as little as you can until you have no play in the forks. retighen the stem clamp bolts.

Its possible you have damaged the headset bolt surround and its no longer holding in properly. Its only light metal thats designed to flex. I had to change mine a couple of times on bikes .....after over tightening them?

Cheers, I will give that a go later, I did take it off and see some metal filings probably from the bolt, probably over tightened. The person I got it from had not looked after it.
