Want to see my BF front rack?
New front rack for my BF NWT. I wanted the real thing since they make them for the bike.
https://store.bikefriday.com/product...ducts_id=19051
On my daily rides I tend to carry a front basket atatched to a clickfix Caddy. After I installed BA`s on the bike the front tyre started rubbing the underside of the basket so I had to install the Caddy a bit higher.
With this rack the Caddy is back down low where I like it. Underside of the basket resting on the top of the rack so I can carry much heavyer weight in the basket now.
It came in a yellow bag to protect it when traveling in the suitcase.

With some wery useful instructions on how to install the silk fenders...??

Two pictures from the underside where basket is supported by the rack:

I was so happy with the result so I forgot to take pix of the whole bike with rack without basket, maybe later.

I have the prior front rack 8mm Tube , vs 10(3/8") pannier rack.. so I use the smaller Ortlieb Hook insert .
My Older Sport packer bags are not produced anymore for Bikes , But to see the bag in general,
they still are used for the Horse saddle bags.
their lids have 4 D rings,[current sport packer don't] , I use those to anchor a stretch Net's hooks
for over flow packing , like bringing home a Boxed Pizza. or tying on Boxes..
The Bike Friday Pannier racks are Quite Useful ,, an Un powder coated Front cross piece is cheap.
A spare was Bought then Modified with a Threaded Boss in the center .. for a Light mount another hook or what ever..

I always knew you were a hunter fietsbob. Going out in the wilderness alone with your bike and bringing home pizza on the front rack
Good idea with the midifyed crosspiece by the way.
