Does a Mezzo D9 fit in a Brompton transportation bag?

I have bought a Mezzo D9 in very good condition. I also have an opportunity to buy a Brompton transportation bag (large bag made of canvas, black, has Brompton logo on both sides).

Can anyone tell me if the Mezzo D9 will fit inside the Brompton transportation bag?

Unlikely I would have thought, as the Bag would be purpose made for the Brompton, which folds somewhat smaller than the D9.

I have a S & S Backpack that was originally designed to fit a full sized
bike(26in wheels) with a S & S couplers. Bromtpon has plenty of room inside:

I was able to squeeze a Dahon Speed Uno inside. Published folded size for the
Uno is 30 X 77 X 64 Cm (11.7" X 30" X 25"). I did have to pull out the seatpost:

Where are you located? If you're near me; we can try to see if the Mezzo fits.

I bought a D9 a few weeks ago too (great bike). If the Brompton bag is fitted to Brompton, the D9 will NOT fit. I've purchased two bags through Amazon. One is a cheap generic from China, the other is a more expensive Mobic-branded shoulder carry bag. The cheapo bag does a better job of completely enclosing the bike (it zips), the Mobic is somewhat easier to use but does not do as good a job as hiding the contents because the top does not seal-up.

I may be close if you remove the dog leg stem section with an allen key...
The rack protrusion may be the other problem area as the mezzo rack is about 50% bigger and (about 200 %better).
