Brompton Fender dimentions
 

Hi all,
I'm new here and a fresh brompton owner aswel.
A mod I want to make to my brompton is to get rid of the rear rack and swap my fenders with wooden ones.
I'm ordering them from Ghisallo, a company best known for their wooden rims.
Anyhow, they're asking me for the dimentions and hole positions (for the mounting hardware, stays and fender wheel) I would like on my fenders.
Since my curent fender is meant to be pared with my rack I can't measure my own fender to give them the dimentions.
So my question here is if someone here on the forums with a Brompton with fenders but without rack could measure his/ her rear fender and hole positions for me.
I'll soon spice up this tread with my new pride and the modifications I'll be doing ☺

If you are using the hardware from the Brompton non-rack fender. The drilled holes starting from the back of the fender are:
40 mm and 77 mm for the roller wheel mount and the first two stays.

200 mm and 218 mm for the middle stay

360 mm and 371 mm for the bracket to attach to the brake.

Again these holes are for the brackets to hold the necessary hardware. Have someone else double check as I don't want to be responsible for ruining what will be the nicest fenders ever made for a Brompton. The measurements were done by using a flexible measuring tape for fabric, so not the most accurate in the world.

I'll definitely update this tread with pictures once these shiny new fenders arrive!
Any chance you could also measure the overall length of the rear mudguard?


Also, nice raiser bars you have there! Is that on an S or a M type stem?

And another thought, would I include holes for the mudflaps or go without?
I do have some leather laying around out of which I could possibly cut my own mudflaps.

If it is wood you may be able to drill that one hole yourself..?

The rear fender measures 510 mm.

The stem on my Brompton is a "S". I added the 60 mm Tioga bars and when compared my wife's M Brompton (the pink in the background) they are almost at the same height. The added benefit is the S stem bends out further, so they cockpit is larger and I don't have to have those goofy looking M bars.

The rear mudflap is riveted to the fender and is 10 mm.
