Measured width of Big Apple 20x2.15

Anyone have some real world measurements of Big Apples 20 x 2.15 on their bikes?

I'm interested in tire width and the rim width it's mounted on. Essentially, I'm trying to decide between the 50 and 55 mm versions prior to purchase.

Exterior width is fine since the interior width is typically 5-6 mm less less.

Thanks.

Missing a detail.. Given the rim width is part of the circle of tire profile state the inside rim width, yours ..

406_47 (marathon +) & I have plenty of side & fork clearance on my Pocket Llama ,, CR 18 rims.. but , Radially, I have to deflate the rear to get it in and out.

worried about being oversize ~Go with the 50 ... get 3, spares are Good things ..

Like I wrote earlier, the inner width is usually ~5 mm narrower. I'm fine with just subtracting from the outside width to get a decent estimate.

This is for a triplet. So there is a 10% difference in width and ~20% increase in volume with going from 50 to 55 mm. So the increase will be meaningful, IMO. Anyway, I'm still hoping that some folks out there have used the tire and can give me a few measurements.

No selling shop to ask?

I have this tire mounted on an older model Velocity Cliffhanger (not the newer super wide rim). I'll try to grab a measurement after getting home from holiday travels.

Thanks. I recall the old cliffhanger has an ~28 mm external width.

Most shops don't have them mounted on rims...

Really? That's good news for me.

I'm building new wheels with Sun Rhyno Lite XL rims. 29 mm external width (23.5 internal) rims. Going by the Aeroheats, the Cliffhangers should have roughly 22.5 internal width.

Thanks for the response.
