Dahon front hub axle.

I have a Dahon 6 speed Boardwalk. I believe it is the 4130 model as it says butted tubing but it really makes no difference. I am looking for a front axle for it. The one in it was bent and I have straightened it in my mini lathe but would really prefer to replace it if I can find one. The hub is an Access SA02 or SAO2 and is a loose bearing hub. Anyone one have details on this axle. Size, threading and where to buy one. Thank you for any help. Roger

Is it not a fairly standard axle if so I would look for a hardened chromoly axle same length and thread not necessarily an axle of the same quality as originally fitted and use european or us made precision bearings. Apologies if the access hub is a recognised non standard part for Dahons. It just sounds like a generic chinese hub.

So what are the threads and the length? I cannot find a listing for the size, length and threading anywhere. What I am measuring is odd. I have all the precision bearings I will ever need. Roger

Bonzo diameter measures closest to 5/16 -26 threads and lenght is very close to 4.45 inches if that helps. Actually an original axle would be best and I know we have a couple of Dahon dealers who are members and was hoping they would know for sure or where to get one. Bonzo it is not a normal axle for sure as it is only 74 mm wide not the standard 100 mm. It is also a nutted not quick release. I have some 5/16-24 threaded rod but that is not what it is. The internal parts will not thread onto that. Roger
