E-bikes that can roll folded?

Hello,

Out of curiosity, what e-bikes can be rolled folded, to avoid carrying those heavy beasts when they could be rolled instead?

I know of those:
  • Brompton
  • Tern Vektron
  • Ahooga

Do you know of more?

Thank you.

The now discontinued Tikit rolled on its front wheel, because they had designed the handlebar mast fit, a button on it,

Into a clip on the frame tube , locking the wheel straight,

...But the fork is Brompton like 74 MM and front hub motors out there are all 100mm axle width..

Some have adopted the mid drive Bosch motors most go with hub drive .. and if a 406 wheel odds are the fork is 10cm.

Pacific Carry Me.

I own a CarryMe. It's more a toy than a bicycle, and unless I missed it, it's still not available as ebike:

When I finally get my shareroller, my NWT won't roll folded but it will only be 30.3 pounds total weight. And I can remove the shareroller in 10 seconds and pop it in my backpack so I'm left again with a 25 pound bike.
They make a special mount for the Brompton - there's a pretty cool video of the SR/Brompton combo. If folding AND rolling mattered to me, that would be the ideal direction I think. With the advantage over the Brompton electric version in that it can be moved from one bike to another using multiple mounts and you don't have the added hub weight when riding manually.

Good to know. It's not listed on PC's site. Still, I wouldn't call the CM a bicycle. I only used it a couple of times, and regret having bought it.

Any other e-bikes that can roll folded?

The new version is much smaller and the batteries can be mounted on the tube in a water bottle holder, then snapped back on the drive unit for carrying. The throttle is now fully bluetooth, no wires at all. And there's a pedelec sensor option. https://ci5.googleusercontent.com/pr...0001831004.jpg

Huh, I might have to try that. I wasn't happy with the front-hub kit on a used Brompton I had - way too heavy to lug around - so I sold it. I have a new Brommie now..adding a light kit that can be removed looks pretty sweet. Thanks for the heads up; I know you've discussed the ShareRoller before, but I didn't have my Brompton then.

Well, it's all trade-offs of course. Being a friction drive, there is a whine at high speed so it's not super stealthy. Depending on how well Jeff's new SRV4 works in rain, there's also that potential issue (although he feels he has resolved it). The benefits are the weight, portability for multiple bikes, and easy removal to prevent theft. And supposedly the U.S. version will go 28mph with pedaling, EU slower. Finally, it won't be cheap when it's finally available on market (non-crowdfunding), I'm guessing around $1000. But - there's nothing else that is super light and super easy to pop on and off in it's entirety. Carry it in your Brommie bag and it's only an extra 5 pounds, hardly noticeable. Pop it on when you unfold and just go.
I'm getting one and so is Jur - from the crowd funding - so you'll get some thorough reviews once we receive them (whenever that is). His review will probably be more mechanically inclined and mine will be for the more clueless, lol.

Fair enough. Only did a short test ride on one, non electric. It takes a while to get used to the twitchiness.
I'm 5'8"/172cm. I think my height is towards the upper limit of this bike. I'm guessing you're taller than me?

This is the older version so a big bigger than the new one, but pretty cool folding "e-bike" setup.https://c0.iggcdn.com/image/fetch/fl...Fformat%3D500w

Do the current Dahon e-bikes have the mount for the Landing Gear?
They should!

Cant lift a non rear rack Brompton too much rolling it folded or the suspension block drags on the ground.

Grinding it down..
